While you may sometimes find all solid mandolins (steam pressed) in this price range, it is very difficult to find an F-style that is hand-carved at this price point. Of course, it doesn't matter how a mandolin was made if it doesn't play well. That is where the Folkmusician mandolin setup comes in. This receives the same setup that our more expensive mandolins go through. The result is a great playing F-style that doesn't break the bank.
