This is what most shops refer to as a "Professional setup".
This will include a thorough inspection, basic cleaning, lubrication of tuners, tightening of screws, neck adjustment, string damping between the bridge and tailpiece, setting the bridge for correct intonation, and setting the action at the nut and bridge. We also include MINOR fret work. Price is for labor only. Purchase of new strings required.
*Setup requires that your mandolin be in good condition without serious issues such as a nut that is too low, uneven frets, loose frets, twisted neck, etc. We find that most new import mandolins need work beyond the scope of this setup. Examples are seating loose frets, leveling and dressing the frets, fitting the bridge foot, and correcting string spacing.
