Scotti Violin Outfit

Scott Cao

SYV-150

Best Seller. Great tone! That sums up the Scotti by Scott Cao Violins. If you can`t justify the price of a Scott Cao violin, this is the next best thing. There is a significant difference between this and our lower priced violins.

A popular choice among teachers, the Scotti has a tone that is both balanced and pleasing. Quality woods are hand carved and varnished (by hand) to create a violin that will allow a talented student to excel. It is a forgiving violin that is easy to get a good tone out of. Our Scotti features an ebony fingerboard and upgraded boxwood pegs, chinrest, tailpiece and endpin. The top and back have inlaid purfling. At the request of teachers, we have strung the violin with Perlon strings (4/4 size only, all fractional sized strung with D'Addario Prelude strings) and included a good quality Brazilwood bow with an ebony frog and higher grade horse hair than that typically found on student grade bows. This bow is well matched to the violin and they compliment each other nicely. The case is a shaped featherweight variety with a shoulder strap and accessory compartment. Rosin is included and the violin is fully setup to meet or exceed MENC specifications. We take the time to do this right so the player does not have to suffer with an incorrectly adjusted instrument.
