Folkmusician is proud to offer Scott Cao violins. For those of you who are not familiar with Scott Cao violins, Scott is considered to be one of the best violin makers of our time. His instruments are played by top performers and have won a long list of international violin making competitions.
Scott Cao violins come in 4 varieties:
1. Those Personally made by Scott in his California Workshop.
2. Instruments made in his California workshop by his team of 10 (among them are international award winning makers).
3. Instruments made in the GuangZhou (China) workshop are made by prize-winning luthiers under the supervision of Scott Cao, Shen Chi Ming and Guan Shang Chi. All three have a combination of over twenty international awards in tone and workmanship.
4. And lastly, the Scott Cao Factory (China) made violins. These are fully hand carved by a group of skilled makers trained by Scott Cao`s students. Every Scott Cao violin represents a great value at its respected price point. All Scott Cao violins meet or exceed MENC specification.
