With its solid hand-carved spruce top and solid hand carved maple back the Legacy Plus has the traditional sound that you are seeking. It is throaty with a great chop. As with all Michael Kelly mandolins you get classic mandolin tone and construction. The best-available woods on the body are tightly fitted with a kiln dried maple neck for that sound that you are seeking. We have radiused the ebony fingerboard and scalloped the fingerboard extension to assure you improved playability.
