The back is carved from solid flamed maple.
There is a radiused fingerboard with block inlays, Grover tuners, gold hardware and a dovetail neck joint.
All specs aside, what we really care about is the tone and the A-Plus has it. You will not find a better sounding mandolin at this price point.
