This is what most shops refer to as a "Professional setup". This will include a thorough inspection, basic cleaning, lubrication of tuners, tightening of screws, neck adjustment, string damping between the bridge and tailpiece, setting the bridge for correct intonation, and setting the action at the nut and bridge. We also include MINOR fret work. |

| Full Mandolin Setup |
The things that set this apart from our standard mandolin setup will be in depth work on the bridge and frets. Most import mandolins (and the occasional domestic mandolin) will need the frets properly seated, leveled, crowned, ends filed, and the frets polished up. Bridge feet often do not get a good fit on the top and there may be string spacing issues. All of these areas are addressed in addition to standard setup steps. |

Complete mandolin re-fret includes removal of old frets, fingerboard leveling, fingerboard prep, installation of new frets, dressing, and any minor finish touchup. Price includes standard setup work. Add $50 for bound fingerboards. A new nut may be required at a cost of $60 (bone nut). |

External installation of stick-on mandolin pickup. This covers most stick-on style mandolin pickups. The fee includes testing for the sweet spot on your mandolin, attaching the pickup, and mounting the jack. Add cost of pickup. |

| Mandolin Pickup Installation - Internal |
This covers the internal Installation of most passive mandolin pickups. The pickup is tested on the mandolin to find the sweet spot, then mounted internally. A 1/4" endpin jack is installed so that the only sign of the pickup is the end of the jack coming out of your bridge. This gives a clean look which is perfect for purists that need to plug in. |
