This Mandolin's design gives it a better sound and playability compared to the traditional Octave Mandolin. It has an extra deep body with big sound and lots of bark. The Mandolin features a warm sunburst finish top. It's back and sides are from highly flamed maple and have a chocolate brown finish. The neck is made from hard maple and the fretboard is rosewood with ivoroid binding and inlaid abalone. The diecast tuning machines with a 16:1 gear ratio.
