Folkmusician was founded in 1999, with a simple question. Does the world really need another music store? We thought so and apparently our customers agree. Closing in on our 10th anniversary, Folkmusician is going strong.

What sets Folkmusician apart?
There are plenty of dealers with great prices. There are some with top customer service. There are dealers that have in house staff that are capable of top level setup work. Throw in some generous return policies and most every dealer has something to offer. What is severely lacking is a combination of all these aspects, especially in the price ranges that most players can afford. All too often a shop’s so called “professional setup” consists of a few minor adjustments that leave much to be desired. Worse yet, most shops do no setup work at all. This is where we step in. Folkmusician instruments sound better, have superior playability, and more often than not, cost the same or less than you would pay elsewhere. Our business is based on this. It’s what we do. It is rare that we spend less than 1 hour working on an instrument. 2hrs is the average and it occasionally runs into several hours. We are often asked, “do you really do all this extra setup work?”. Yep, We sure do. :)
Our Satisfaction Guarantee Keep the item(s) 14 days. NOTE: Our Return policy is calculated by the days you have the product in your possession. Example: We ship the package on the 1st day of the month. The package is delivered on the 7th. Your trial period then begins on the 7th. You may keep the item until the 21st (14 days). If you ship the package back to us by the 21st you are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price. The date we receive the package is not calculated. We go by the postmark on the package showing when it was shipped. Your Satisfaction is important to us! If you are not completely satisfied with any product*, you may return it within 14 days for a full refund of the purchase price (Shipping and Handling is non-refundable). Items must be returned in new condition with no signs of wear. Items returned after 14 days but no later than 30 days are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returns will not be accepted after 30 days. Days are calculated from the date of delivery to the date postmarked on the return package. Transit time is not calculated. *Harmonicas (health laws), books, CDs, videos, DVDs, software, opened or used sets of strings and internal earphones (health laws) are non-returnable. All returned items must be in original boxes with all paper work (if applicable), including warranty card. There may be no signs of wear or abuse. Items returned with missing or damaged parts will have the cost refund adjusted to cover the cost of repair/replacement. Refunds are for purchase price only, not including shipping and handling. Folkmusician is not liable for incorrect spelling, pricing errors, incorrect manufacturer`s specifications or grammatical inaccuracies. Prices subject to change without notice. |
